Thanks i have always wanted to know how to make this bread.
@potterscotter it is… had a friend who’s mom would be making it every time I went over… she would make like 20 for one sitting. she’d have the dough made, and when we wanted one (when there weren’t anymore) we’d do them ourselves… it was fun… and I remember we were flipping them by hand, with no spatula… i loved watching them bubble up like balloons.
@MsKimmova if they don’t something is wrong… even if you don’t press down on them with spatula they pop up. It’s awesome!

what is the best flour for this and type of oil to use?
thansk for this video! Why does my Roti always get so hard? I use Olive Oil and our local flour which is Pilsbury….help!

Knead the dough more and use less dry flour to role the roti.
I just made them they are delicious right after I watched the video I made them for myself, I might have put too much salt but they were still good, lol I had the redneck version, I added bologna and ranch to one of them thee other I slightly buttered and it made my taste buds pop good luck on more vids and God bless you…( :

I follwed the recipe exactly (I livein SC) and a Cast-Iron skillet to cook with just a wipe of butter in the bottom…YUMMMY!!!!If You live in a High-altitude,You must take this into consideration??.
My Husband LOVES these for breakfast with a little Honey!!! a couple of boiled or scrambled eggs, sliced tomatos and some yoghurt drink or tea….I’ve even made them to pack-off with His Lunch… He”Used” to be a Meat & Potato Man…Gigglez

Thank you for showing us how to make these. When I was in intermediate school (junior high) in New Zealand in the 1970′s, I used to watch my friend Vanita’s mum make these, and I still remember them as chapatis. They’re so delicious!
