Layoutthebreadslices,Spreadonesideofeachslicewith
thebutter,thenturnthemandspeadtheothersideevenlywith
thedressing.Laytheslicedcornedbeefonthedressingside
ofthebread,makingsurethere’snooverhang.Spreadthe
sauerkrautevenlyonthecornedbeef,thensprinklethecheese
evenlyontopofthat.Topwiththeremainingbreadslice,
butteredsideoutandpresstocompactthesandwich.
Heatalargenon−stickfrypanorgriddleuntilhot.Placethe
sandwichonthegriddleandcook,pressingdownonthe
sandwiches3or4timestokeepcompact.Cookfor3−4minutes
untilgoldenontheoneside,thenflipcarefullyandpress
downagainandcookuntilthecheesehasmeltedandthesandwich
isgoldenontheotherside.
