Aloo Gobi Recipe by Manjula, Indian Vegetarian Food

www.ManjulasKitchen.com INGREDIENTS (Potatoes Cauliflower) for 2-4 2 cups of cut cauliflower 2 medium red potatoes sliced 1/2″ shredded ginger 3 teaspoons coriander powder 1/4 teaspoon turmeric 1/4 teaspoon red chilly powder 3 tablespoons oil Pinch of hing (asafetida) 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed 2 green paper sliced seeded long way 2 bay leafs 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste) 1 teaspoon amchoor (mango powder) 2 tablespoon chopped cilantro 1/4cup water Please send comments to manjulaskitchen@yahoo.com

    none, the indian version is slightly longer, but the flavor it adds is about the same

    I ‘ve a question here..is it d curry leave or actuall bay leaf?? I asked coz ur bay leaf looks like curry leave…I’ve bay leaf but they are really big in size.I would be glad if u cud answer..

    curry leaves are different, bay leaves can be in different size.

    ok,thanks 4 replying..I did make dis sabzi…came out very gud but got little soggy..I had nt seen bayleaves in different sizes before so was kinda confused.Its like I always bless u whenever I use ur recipy.Nw I hv a reason 2 b in d kitchen :) ur recipies give enthu..I always rem my naniji hand when I see ur hands cooking the food :) Love frm unkown fan n bless u:)
